About Jacquie

Jacquie French was born and raised in Worcester, Massachusetts. She met her best friend and soon-to-be husband, Tom French, in high school in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. They were married in 1983, one year after Jacquie was voted Miss Congeniality and won the Miss New England States Pageant.

In 1996, Tom was diagnosed with A.L.S. they moved to Vermont to contently live out their days, "in sickness and in health, till death do us part."

In 1998 after years of infertility, Jacquie finally gave birth to Lauren, their "miracle daughter." Seven years later, Tom passed away, and Jacquie went on to advocate for the A.L.S. Association's National Office in California.

Jacquie hopes to shed light on the topics mentioned in this book and continue to live the will of God.
